I shamelessly asked and begged my friends for freelance jobs today!
and obviously, being designers themselves, why would they give me freelance design job to do when they can do the job and earn the money! well, no harm asking!
so anyway, i'm desperate for money. when i told my colleagues that, one of them asked why do i need the money since i don't have a family to feed. i paused for a while before my other colleague replied, "for her shopping of course."
actually not true... partly its because i want more money to enjoy but of coz i can't tell them that. so i replied and said it was for my sister's school fees. wahahaha! since when am i so kind?! and noble?!
recently, there has been a huge rush to shopping, not just me, but everyone! yes, great sg sale and also because it's going to be 1st july soon!
haha! that sounds like 10 yrs back when HK was to return to CH. and now what's happening to us? are we going back to MY? No! it's because of the increase in Gipsy-Sissy-Tixy!
and so They are giving us 200 bucks and they thought 200 can cover all the Gipsy-Sissy-Tixy purchases we made the whole year round.

14 June - 25 years old! Happy Birthday to Me! This is the most 'peaceful' birthday i had, partly because i changed a new job and no one in the office knows my birthday (how sad!) and mainly its on a thursday and i didn't want to party late due to work the next day. So party starts TODAY & TOMORROW!!!
Well... Thanks to this bunch of people who wished me, even if its because of friendster alert, i'm still happy!
(in order of wish)
1. Jessie (I know her since age 13 but ever since the age of 15, she's always the 1st to wish me. You'll be wondering what about age 13 and 14... well, that time no pager ma!)
2. My Younger sis (I reminded her to wish me coz we were watching tv)
3. My Elder sis (same as above)
4. Meiling (Hopeless... As a good friend she promised to call me at 12 midnight sharp so i stayed awake till 12.30am, but she didn't call. And her reason was, she was gambling! She finally "sui bian" sms after her poker game and while i was still in bed at 6.22am)
5. My Brother (saw him early in the morning before going to work, i reminded him to wish me!)
6. Qiying (I almost thought she forgot and was still telling jess she didn't msg me and then "ding-dong", at 8.19am, 1 new msg on my phone! How can i ever lost trust in her?! She never forgets people's birthday! She is not Meiling!)
7. Mages (Current colleague, her birthday was 1 day earlier and she asked if mine was on the same day but after i corrected her, then she wished me.)
8. Marion (ex-colleague, messaged twice, on sms & msn!)
9. Serena (ex-colleague, the best colleague i ever had. When i reach home, i saw a present from her sent by post, an esprit top! very fitting!!! oh... 1st and only present)
10. Henry (ex-colleage from the company where i did my poly internship, INTERNSHIP leh! He msg me every year but i never know when his birthday. Friendster.. please alert me!)
11. Zen (her wish was her msn nick name but i didn't realise until val told me. haha! but as a good friend, it's too cheapo for her to msg me on MSN instead of sending a sms. her reason - save money as GST is going to increase in july. But my birthday is june!)

13. Zixin (Also changed her MSN nick to wish me happy birthday but also also as a good friend, it's too cheapo not to send a sms.)
14. Rei (She uses sms even though she's on MSN!)
15. Charles (ex-colleage, I was really Surprise to see him msg!)
16. Ah Wei (I'm sure its from friendster alert)
17. Deborah (Also sms me even though she's on MSN, val, zixin, zen, u 3 FAN XING FAN XING!)
18. Len (Another who got the alert from friendster)
19. Noor (ex-colleague, i think serena reminded her! haha!)

Good Bluffing Reasons!
I deleted all my previous post and decided to start afresh with good things!
Hmmm... how did this thought come about? hmmm... i think i have been 'counselling' people and lending a listening ear to all those with grieves so it kinda makes me the optimistic person!
I still very much love to curse, gossip and complain but loving to complain doesn't make me a pessimistic person!
I've decided to think everything on the bright side... like for example...
if i have an irritating fat colleague who likes to provoke me at all times, then i will think:
"if there's no fat people, i won't realise i'm slim."
"if it's not because he's so irritating, i won't realise there's actually so many kind souls around me."
"he provokes me because he has no one to talk to... i'll be kind."
and so it goes on...
anyway, i just came back from Redang (it's Malaysia if you are still wondering where it is).
and here's some nice photos about that place.
Oh dear... i just realise i didn't adjust all my colors of my photographs when i sent it for print just now! arghh... damn it!
now my whole sketch book won't look nice!
and i'm still quite bad with my SLR camera. a lot of my focus were wrong... haha! instead of focusing on my friends, i focus on the background behind!
It's ok... if i never had any bad photos taken, how would i know i need to improve?!
And out of focus... is an ART!
Haha! Deceiving myself is the 1st step to being optimistic!
